Setup Technician 1 - 2763
Performs work associated with die installation and calibration of various manufacturing machines and equipment.
Job Duties
- Safely and efficiently install dies into various types of equipment and perform adjustments as needed.
- Show aptitude for basic trouble shooting of dies and machines.
- Test and inspect machines to determine safe and efficient operation, perform routine maintenance and fix standard malfunctions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operation
- Operate powered industrial equipment if needed
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform work under direct supervision
- Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff
- Possess beginning to work knowledge of subject matter.
- 0 to 2 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment
