Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

Duties and Responsibilities

- Routine inspections and maintenance for forklifts, service, and utility vehicles.

- Routine inspections and maintenance for production equipment including CNC Mills & Lathes, Press Brake, Shear, Burn Table, Saw, Welding Machines, Air Compressors, Painting & Sandblasting equipment, and Engineering testing equipment.

- Diagnose and repair electrical problems in industrial machinery and equipment.

- Change out electrical components as needed, i.e., motor starters, fuses, breakers etc.

- Repair conduit and wiring.

- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

- Collaborate with the Environmental Health & Safety Manager to meet regulatory standards for all machinery.

Qualifications

- Valid Driver’s License

- Computer proficiency in MS Office

- Mechanical and electrical skills

- 3 phase, single phase and 12-24VDC knowledge

- Experience with electrical components, motors and running wire.

- Welding and fabrication skills

- Experience with mechanical conveyors and overhead cranes

- Pneumatic component experience

- Knowledge of CNC machinery maintenance

- Ability to work safely and independently.

Working Conditions

- 8–10 hour shifts

- Occasional weekend work

- Outdoor and Plant work areas

- Fast paced Production environment

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and work for 8–10 hour shift.

- Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs.

Experience

- Electrical: 5 years (Preferred)

- Industrial Maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)

- Mechanical Knowledge: 5 years (Preferred)

- Ability to read Ladder Logic (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time 2nd Shift

Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
