This position calls on knowledge of RF communication, electrical wiring, computer use and interface, exposure to network systems, use of job-related test equipment and software applications, strong customer centricity, cybersecurity best practices, telephone support, database entry, and problem identification/resolution. Knowledge in PLC control systems and control logic is a plus. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in electrical controls or related fields
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute on team projects
- Knowledge of computers, remote interfaces, and networking (familiarity with Linux is a plus)
- Applies knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, RF and programming
- Previous experience with database entry and passionate attention to detail is required
- Previous military, RF communications, and SCADA Systems experience are all a plus
- Performs remote and onsite troubleshooting techniques and analysis of DFS equipment and systems
- Routinely tests software in lab to duplicate failures and present findings to development
- Some travel may be required for on-call support within southeastern US (Florida)

- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment
- Work is performed indoors/outdoors; may be exposed to heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions
- Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
