What You’ll Do

As a Service Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of safety and customer service, ensuring propane systems are properly installed, maintained, and repaired. Your daily work will reflect our core values: Integrity, Trust, Curiosity, Inclusivity, and Passion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set, maintain, and repair propane tanks and cylinders

- Install service lines to homes and facilities per all applicable regulations

- Perform leak tests and gas system inspections

- Troubleshoot and repair propane systems and appliances

- Ensure safe, compliant operation of company vehicles and equipment

- Deliver propane when needed

- Provide excellent customer service and represent Pinnacle with professionalism

- Respond to emergency calls and work flexible hours as needed

- Complete required documentation using company technology

What You’ll Need

- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements

- 1+ year of experience operating a Class A commercial vehicle

- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 5 years)

- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 60 lbs

- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)

- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction

- Must pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screening

Sign-On Bonus Policy:

- Current fully-endorsed, CDL holders only are eligible for the sign-on bonus.

- Payout would apply to any new candidate or former employee with a separation before 1/1/2020.

- New hire will be eligible for an initial payment of $750 following 90 days from his/her date of hire to be paid out on the next payroll.

- New hire will receive final payout of $2,250 following 12 months from his/her date of hire to be paid out on the next payroll.

- New hire forfeits the entire bonus ($3,000) if he/she resigns, is terminated for cause, or fails any portion of the new hire screening process prior to their 30th day of employment.

- Employee forfeits the second payout ($2,250) if he/she resigns or is terminated for cause after their 30th day of employment but prior to their 12th completed month of employment.
