About the position
Service Technicians are part of our local Service Team and are closely linked to our other Service Teams worldwide.
Your workplace is in Pompano Beach – Florida, where we have our main workshop. Here you will be testing and repairing machines, but you will also spend time at our customer’s sites, in workshops, on ships, in power plants and at shipyards all over the Americas (USA, Caribbean, Central and South America) working on their machines and training them.
You will learn how to operate, service and repair our machines and tools as well as capturing customer needs when meeting them, some of which are used for generating new products and services.
You will also interact with our product development engineers and thereby actively contribute to turning good ideas into products and services.

About you
More emphasis will be put on your personal features and experience than on your formal education. The position involves interacting with people, both internally and externally, and it is important that you like to- You are clean and organized with your workspace and tools.
- You have 5+ years of practical experience on cutting and/or grinding and/or hydraulic / pneumatic tools, diesel/gas engine overhaul experience (medium/low speed engines) is a plus.
- You have experience with precision measuring instruments, the Metric System and testing electronic & electrical equipment.
- Experience using Chris-Marine, Obel-P, LEMAG tools is a plus.
- You live in South Florida, especially in or close to Broward County (Pompano Beach area) or are willing to relocate without company sponsorship.
- You are legally authorized to work in the USA (have a valid Driver’s License and valid US Passport or Work Visa with valid Passport from country of origin).
- You have or can obtain a TWIC card and other required certifications (HUET, etc.).
- Willingness to travel and work overnight and weekends whenever needed (up to approximately 100+ days/year).
- You are willing to carry other duties as required.
- You are bilingual (written and spoken) in English and Spanish. Other language skills (Portuguese, etc.) are a plus.
- You are computer literate (able to operate digital machinery, produce reports, manage emails, attend remote meetings and other tasks on a computer).
- You live in South Florida, especially in or close to Broward County (Pompano Beach area) or are willing to relocate without company sponsorship.
- You are legally authorized to work in the USA (have a valid Driver’s License and valid US Passport or Work Visa with valid Passport from country of origin).
