The
Senior Talent Acquisition Partner - Tradingwill be responsible for full cycle recruitment for our Trading entities in the US.
Key activities include:
- Conduct end-to-end recruitment processes to identify and engage the most qualified candidates.
- Streamline time-to-fill for open positions.
- Prioritize employee retention by ensuring a positive candidate experience. Strategic Partnership:
- Collaborate closely with hiring teams to develop effective sourcing, assessment, and closing strategies.
- Understand team dynamics, technical requirements, and strategic hiring goals. Candidate Assessment
- Utilize behavioral-based interview techniques to assess prospective candidates.
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate fit. Coordination and Management:
- Indirectly manage Talent Acquisition Coordinator(s) to ensure smooth operations
- Own the hiring process for all job classifications, from requisition to hire.
- Maintain compliance and consistency throughout.
- Cultivate industry contacts and leads through technology-based social networking, external meetings, and events.
- Collaborate with business leaders, talent developers, and University Relations Partner to support broader talent strategy initiatives.
- Lead recruitment process for Trading Graduate program, lead for all University relations topics for Trading.

We’re seeking a highly experienced recruiter with specialized knowledge of the US energy trading sector. You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring top candidates within the oil, gas, and power markets—from traders and analysts to risk and operations professionals. You’ll serve as a key partner to hiring managers, delivering market insights and helping shape recruitment strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, a focus in the Human Resource field a plus
- 5+ years of strong recruiting experience, specifically in energy trading
- Proven track record of placing mid-to-senior-level professionals in oil, gas, and power sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with labor legislation and regulations related to hiring.
- Familiarity with FERC regulations, ISO markets, commodity trading.
- Effective communication to effectively interface across all levels of the organization & with external parties.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication across various channels (in-person, phone, email).
- Strong negotiation & influencing skills.
- Use of data analytics to measure recruiting success and make informed decisions.
- Utilize technology tools for sourcing, assessing, and hiring talent.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Internet research, and HRIS applications (SAP experience preferred)
