Reporting to the System Integration and Interfaces Manager, the Senior Systems Integration Engineer will support the smooth integration of all railway systems and subsystems within the project scope. This includes coordinating with various functions and departments to ensure the alignment of activities and the fulfillment of prerequisites for each project phase. The coordinator will also collaborate closely with the system integration subcontractor, as well as other subcontractors and designers, to ensure compliance with established processes, with the goal of meeting the targets for trial runs and achieving readiness for revenue service.

Job Description
•Support the daily project activities for the System Integration team. Develop, monitor, and control the System Integration deliverables, such as ICDs, DCIMs, System Configurations, Design Interface Matrix, etc., and coordinate their production with each subsystem lead. Ensure that System Integration deliverables are completed in accordance with agreed quality standards and requirements. Additionally, ensure the implementation of engineering best practices and the maintenance of the highest product safety standards.
•Provide in-depth technical expertise in your field of specialization to address complex problems, ensuring resolutions are both cost-effective and timely.
•Support interactions with the customer, other contractors, suppliers, and vendors, as needed, to ensure that system integration and interface requirements are clearly communicated with no gaps. Additionally, interface with partners and subsystems to ensure that interface requirements are fully understood and met.
•Monitor and coordinate system integration tests during the T&C phase, reporting to the T&C Director throughout this phase. Additionally, ensure that all open items detailed in the test reports are properly recorded and assist in providing impact assessments for each.
•The current position will transition to other positions based on project requirements.
•Support the System Integration Manager in coordinating system engineering design activities to ensure successful integration of earthing and bonding, stray current, EMC/EMI, and noise and vibration considerations. Additionally, assist in the execution of related tests during the T&C phase.
•Work with the System Integration Manager, the Document Controller, and others to monitor and coordinate the completion of deliverables required for the system's readiness for trial runs.
•Maintain and keep the Procore and share folders up to date with System Integration record documents
•Perform other duties as assigned or undertaken on personal initiative, with manager approval.
•The candidate is flexible with working hours.
Experience/Qualifications
Required Skills and Competencies
•Possess a general understanding of system integration and railway systems processes.
•Engineering or related degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
•Ability to read and understanding technical report, specification and design drawing and documents.
•Demonstrated experience delivering high quality results to agreed budget and schedule.
•1-3 years of experience in railway projects, particularly in system integration and interfaces.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Software.
•Experience in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit will be considered asset.
•Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
•Well organized, self-starter.
