Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and resourceful individuals with a strong mechanical background to join our growing Research & Development team as Senior R&D Technicians. If you have a knack for mechanics, enjoy tackling novel challenges, and possess a passion for improvisation and creative problem-solving, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. In this role, you will be instrumental in the development of our innovative generator technology, working closely with our talented engineering team at our dedicated R&D Center of Excellence in Menlo Park. You'll have the chance to experiment, build prototypes, and contribute directly to bringing affordable, dispatchable, and clean energy to the world. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and expertise. New hires joining the company tend to be paid within the starting base pay range noted above, with opportunities to increase pay over time based on development of additional skills, competencies, and company-specific knowledge.

This position is onsite at our Menlo Park HQ. The salary will be adjusted to reflect local market conditions based on employee location as well as the experience of the employee. Along with the base hourly, Mainspring offers pre-IPO stock options + benefits.
