The TerraPower Isotopes® (TPI™) division has been established to pursue medical isotopes development- advancing nuclear science for significant human health benefits. We seek to support revolutionary radiotherapies for treatments of various cancers through the supply of radioisotopes. TerraPower currently has unique access to a supply of thorium for the long-term production of actinium-225 in the growing alpha therapy market and intends to expand into other nuclear related medical treatments.

Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy
The Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy will work with the Customer Office Director supporting the TerraPower Isotopes business. This position will bring deep experience to the financial and long-term market planning functions of the organization and, as such, a successful candidate will be an individual who has demonstrated ownership and accountability for delivering results in an operations-oriented environment and/or working as a business partner to jointly drive success. This role will be responsible for gathering and reporting accurate and timely data and provide timely insights in multiple areas of the business. The Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy will identify and track market data, financial metrics, and/or other internal and external trends to help leaders make sound business decisions and communicate potential areas for improvement of the TerraPower Isotopes business.
Responsibilities
•Provide financial forecasts for future opportunities, market planning, and other scenarios
•Drive to get better data and dig deep into data analysis and communicate findings clearly with business leaders
•Develop detailed forecast models for the industry
•Develop high-level project plans and schedules to support key CAPX and strategic business decisions
•Serve as a technical consultant/expert on state of the industry during internal meetings and customer facing conversations
•Support process improvement to optimize financial planning, reporting, development, and maintenance of new templates and reporting tools
•Support internal strategic decision making for product pricing and go-to-market strategies and make-by, competitor, and capital planning analyses
•Support ad hoc analysis & other duties as assigned to improve the performance of the business
•As assigned, monitor compliance with external customer contract terms as well as internal company policies, procedures, and guidelines
•Work with, and at times manage, external consultants developing 3rd party information in support of the above responsibilities
Key Qualifications and Skills
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting; Masters preferred
•10+ years’ experience in either a project-oriented business and/or manufacturing environment
•Experience working in organizations with government grants and/or government contracts. Experience working in industrial, aerospace, manufacturing, construction industries is preferred
•Understanding of therapeutic radiopharmaceutical industry preferred
•Personality to build relationships while comfortably challenging and pro-actively driving change
•Desire to understand the business and mission, not just the numbers
•Experience working with enterprise applications such as PowerBI, Deltek, Concur, Oracle, and Atlassian tools
•Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and other financial analyses software
•Strong communication skills, comfortable working with diverse internal teams
•Proven ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
•Proficient with PowerPoint and presentation preparation for senior leaders
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under tight deadlines at times, and in an ever changing / dynamic environment.
•Candidate should possess high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and strong analytical skills
•Inquisitive nature with exceptional analytical, critical thinking, professional skepticism, and communication skills

Salary Range Level 11: $125,257 - $208,762
Salary Range Level 12: $169,922 - $235,464
•Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 – 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary band. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individual’s qualifications and experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
