The Strategic Alliance Director is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining strategic relationships with key industry associations, partners, and stakeholders. This role focuses on networking within various industry sectors to uncover new business opportunities, foster long-term partnerships, and generate leads to support the sales team's objectives. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator, a proactive networker, and a strategic thinker who thrives in a relationship-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•Industry Networking: Actively engage with industry associations, trade groups, and professional networks to build a strong pipeline of potential business opportunities.
•Partnership Development: Cultivate and manage relationships with industry leaders, influencers, and organizations to drive mutually beneficial partnerships.
•Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through networking and partnership opportunities, ensuring alignment with company goals and sales strategies.
•Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to communicate key opportunities and help drive the conversion of leads into closed deals.
•Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead of the curve and provide strategic insights to the sales and marketing teams.
•Event Participation: Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and meetings to build brand awareness and develop new business relationships.
•Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on partnership activity, opportunities, and outcomes to ensure goals are met and performance is optimized.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. Or work experience equivalent
•3+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or sales, ideally within a B2B environment.
•Proven track record of building and nurturing long-term relationships with industry professionals and organizations.
•Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities through networking and strategic partnerships.
•Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
Preferred Skills:
•Experience with event coordination and participation in industry trade shows.
