About this opportunity:
Reporting to the Thermal Maintenance Planning Coordinator, the Senior Maintenance Planner partners with Operations staff, Maintenance Sr. Coordinator, Maintenance Technicians, and Schedulers to review, prioritize and plan maintenance activities in a designated area. Creating, modifying SAP Plan maintenance work order packages so they can be scheduled and implemented. Prioritize in coming request and lead work order backlogs.

Work Environment:
- This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area
- This role is field based and could work at any of the facilities in the Lloydminster area
- This is a full-time employee position working a 5-2 shift rotation
- Work with Maintenance Technicians, Maintenance SR. Coordinators and Operations to develop job plans and planned work packages for all trade fields
- Develop SAP Maintenance task lists for repetitive routine tasks. Driving continuous improvement on planning master data Library
- Participate In daily/weekly maintenance Work Management meetings with Operations, Maintenance and Schedulers to discuss ongoing activities, prioritize activities, review upcoming planned work for the next two weeks and identify maintenance requirements which may have been overlooked
- Participate in monthly cost review and annual budget development meetings with Finance, Maintenance Sr. Coordinators and Operations.
- Identify and sustain Key performance indicators
- Develop BOMs Bill of Materials, master data, create Stocking material requests and attach to equipment records
- Create SAP work packages that includes resources, materials, hours, costs, defined activity steps to planned work order package
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Post-secondary diploma in Technology, Power Engineering or Journeyman Trades in a mechanical discipline or relevant
- Experience with a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as SAP PM, Maximo
- Working knowledge of the EWR and MOC processes
- Familiarity with Thermal and Conventional Oil operating principles
- Strong understanding of operational integrity, reliability and safety processes and procedures
- Minimum 8 years’ experience with maintenance philosophies, standards, strategies, practices, and processes within the energy industry
- Minimum 8 years of solid understanding of applicable energy industry Codes, Standards, Regulations, and Acts; design and construction practices; pressure and rotating equipment; electrical; instrumentation and controls; and operating process principles

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.
