As a Senior IT Business Analyst you will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with a proven track record of delivering innovative IT solutions aligned with business objectives. The Senior IT Business Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate business needs into technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting CRM, Project Management, ERP, HR and/or ATS solutions for a large enterprise.
This position can be based out of either our Sherwood Park or Calgary office.
- Act as the key contact between IT and various business units to ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments.
- Assess current systems and processes, gather and validate requirements, and design enterprise-level solutions to meet business needs.
- Support daily IT operations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to align IT solutions with business goals.
- Lead small projects and system changes, including documentation, integration, and configuration of complex business applications.
- Develop test plans, conduct user training, and improve internal processes while proactively managing risks and issues.

- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or equivalent, with hands-on experience in systems like CRM, ERP, HR, ATS, and Project Management tools.
- Strong ability to analyze complex business processes, gather requirements, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through technical solutions.
- Knowledgeable in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, capable of leading IT projects and managing change processes for smooth system transitions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels, with a proven ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective resolutions.
- Skilled in customizing IT systems, integrating internal and external platforms, and proficient in Microsoft 365 tools including Visio, Project, and Teams.
