ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP® is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Technology Operations team.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Systems Analyst with deep expertise in IFS Apps 10 and IFS Cloud. Reporting to the ERP Supervisor, this role plays a key role in the design, development, and continuous improvement of ERP processes and reporting solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP implementation, business process optimization, and advanced reporting using IFS Business Reporter and other IFS reporting tools. A solid understanding of accounting principles is essential to support the Controller and Accounting team with IFS-related questions and issue resolution.
The essential functions of the position include:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for IFS Apps 10 and IFS Cloud, including configuration, administration, and user support
- Support the design and optimization of scalable business processes across functional areas by collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with ERP capabilities
- Provide Tier 2 support for complex ERP issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution
- Assist in coordinating ERP upgrades, enhancements, and testing activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Collaborate with the Controller and Accounting team to troubleshoot and resolve IFS-related financial issues, ensuring alignment with accounting standards and internal controls
- Translate business needs into technical specifications and develop IFS Business Reporter and other native reports to support operational and strategic decision-making
- Build and maintain IFS Lobbies by discipline, leveraging IFS Lobby elements and complementary BI tools
- Deliver actionable insights through reports and visualizations that support enterprise-wide decision-making
- Support ERP implementation and rollout projects, including training, documentation, and change management activities
- Facilitate or co-lead cross-functional workshops and training sessions to improve ERP adoption and reporting literacy
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to evaluate and integrate new technologies that enhance ERP and reporting capabilities
- Primarily office-based with flexibility for remote work
- Occasional travel may be required for training, implementation, or stakeholder engagement
- Must be able to sit for extended periods and work at a computer
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential
- Five (5) or more years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three (3) or more years of experience in IFS ERP process design and/or application of technology to support defined processes
- IFS Subject Matter Expert
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, preferred
