Job Responsibilities & Qualifications:
•
Effective in installing and troubleshooting heating, air conditioning units.• Exceptional knowledge of providing technical assistant with the design and implementation of HVAC systems.
•
Strong background in reading and interpreting instructions and safety procedures associated with HVAC processes.
•
Proven ability to read schematics and work plans.
•
Absolute understanding of local building codes.
•
Knowledge of basic and advanced building components in relation to HVAC systems.
•
Solid knowledge of using hand and power tools.
•
Physically dexterous to handle tasks effectively in extreme weather conditions.
•
Highly experienced in handling electronic and mechanical systems effectively.
•
Well-versed in installing and repairing pumps, motors, fan coils and piping.
•
Great ability to determine whether a part of a system or the system in whole can be repaired or will need to be replaced.
•
Knowledge and ability to perform preventative and general maintenance tasks on HVAC systems.
•
Deep understanding of fabricating equipment parts to meet specialty needs or replace parts that may not be readily available.
•
Install and maintain diverse heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems
•
Lay out wires and pipes to complete HVAC systems.
•
Perform general and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
•
Ensure that all installations are done in accordance to the set standards.
•
Make sure that any loose wires are connected and secured properly.
•
Ensure calibration of thermostats and other controls.
•
Perform checks on motors and belts and handle lubrication duties.
•
Change filters and replace any parts as they wear out.
•
Repair motors and service steam and hot water boilers.
•
Ensure that chemical compositions in equipment are adequate at all times
•
Handle conduit running for HVAC equipment.
•
Order any supplies or equipment needed for HVAC maintenance or installation as needed.
•
Ensure availability of all items needed for an HVAC project.
•
Respond to emergency situations in order to resolve issues on an immediate basis
•
Handle maintenance of tools and equipment.
•
Replace faulty or expired parts in an HVAC system.
•
Fabricate parts in case parts are not readily available.
•
Determine need for upgrading HVAC systems and take measures to take necessary actions.
•
SHEET METAL DUCT WORK INSTALLATION/ FABRICATION/ MODIFY ON SITE.
•
Drilling

Hanging COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTAL Ductwork

Insulating Ductwork
•
Piping
Some Certs that would be good to have:
•
EPA CERTIFIED
•
OSHA40
•
ABLE TO READ BLUE PRINTS

FIRE GUARD OR TORCH OPERATOR CERT
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:

8 hour shift
•
Monday to Friday
•
Overtime
•
Weekends as needed
