About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior HR Generalist/Payroll Administrator to join our team. This full-time, onsite position is based at our Woburn, MA headquarters and plays a critical role in supporting a multi-location, multi-state workforce, including both union and non-union employees.
You will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions with a strong focus on payroll administration, compliance, and employee relations. This role requires a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable managing complex HR and payroll processes.
The successful candidate is supported by our corporate HR/payroll resource center in the areas of payroll administration, benefits, wellness, leave of absence, affirmative action, and HR compliance administration!
- Administer and process weekly payroll for 150 employees using iSolved through December 2025. Process weekly payroll using Dayforce after golive.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
- Coordinate payroll activities, leave of absence, benefits, and wellness as established by corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintain HRIS records and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Provide support to managers through use of an applicant tracking system and job postings.
- Coordinate annual performance evaluations and pay increases.
- Administer disciplinary action and corrective action.
- Maintain data and run reports for affirmative action plan.
- Support employee relations and union contract compliance.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Partner with leadership on employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.
- College degree strongly preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of HR Generalist and Payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state, unionized environment.- HR certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Dayforce (Ceridian) and/or iSolved payroll strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, labor laws, union benefits, and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- This is a fully onsite role reporting daily to our Woburn, MA headquarters.
- Occasional travel for site visits, training may be required.
- Willingness to work overtime is required.
