Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking an FP&A Manager – PGS.
SUMMARY
The FP&A Manager – PGS plays a critical leadership role within the Power Generation Services (PGS) Finance organization, driving financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support business growth and operational goals. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior management by delivering actionable insights, leading planning and forecasting processes, and fostering collaboration across PGS product lines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Business Partnership
•Cultivate strong relationships with operational leaders to understand performance, forecasts, and results.
•Provide insights and recommendations to management and monitor risks and opportunities.
Financial Planning Leadership
•Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning aligned with PGS strategic objectives.
•Manage planning processes in partnership with senior leaders and financial analysts.
Financial Reporting Excellence
•Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
•Ensure data accuracy and relevance for leadership reporting and dashboards.
•Maintain and report in OneStream; manage Americas financial consolidation.
•Develop and enhance PGS-specific reporting frameworks.
Operational Performance Analysis
•Improve frameworks for measuring operational and strategic performance.
•Support data transformation, automation, and visualization efforts across the finance function.
Key Metrics Management
•Develop and maintain monthly performance indicators and dashboards.
•Analyze variances and provide leadership with concise KPI reporting.
Executive Communication
•Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations for senior executives.
•Frame critical decisions and highlight key actions with clarity and precision.
Transformation Initiatives
•Lead identification and tracking of productivity and transformation metrics.
•Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and support continuous improvement.
Team Leadership
•Report directly to the VP & CFO of PGS.
•Manage and mentor one financial analyst.
OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•Up to 25% travel may be required based on business needs.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or at least ten (10) years of relevant experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Financial Expertise:
•Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
•Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
Technical Proficiency:
•Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
•Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and performance tools such as Hyperion or OneStream.
Communication Skills:
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to influence and effectively present to executive-level leadership.
Analytical Strength:
•Skilled in problem solving, critical thinking, and forward-looking analysis.
•Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership Qualities:
•Ability to manage competing priorities and inspire collaboration.
•Balance between strategic vision and operational execution.

Computer Skills:
•Proficient in ERP systems, databases, spreadsheets, project management, and accounting software.
