SunVest is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead the Company’s financial planning, project budgeting, and performance reporting efforts. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will serve as a critical business partner across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting, public accounting background, paired with deep experience in FP&A.
This is a high-impact role that combines financial leadership, operational insight, and strategic project management. You will be responsible for building dashboards, optimizing cash management, producing board and management reporting packages, and enhancing SunVest’s forecasting and budgeting processes to support company growth.
- Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-term planning across corporate and project-level operations.
- Oversee project budgeting processes in collaboration with project development, construction, and operations teams.
- Own the development and automation of FP&A systems, dashboards, and financial tools to enhance data visibility and decision-making.
- Lead company-wide cash flow forecasting and cash management strategy.
- Coordinate and prepare materials for monthly management reporting, board meetings, and investor updates.
- Design and build financial models that drive insights into operating performance, capital deployment, and ROI.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Legal, Development, and Asset Management) to ensure accuracy and efficiency of financial data.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, including reporting timelines, variance analysis, and project cost tracking.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CFO on financial performance, risk management, and capital strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA highly preferred
- 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial planning & analysis, including time in public accounting and ideally within a project-based industry (renewable energy, infrastructure, real estate, or construction)- Demonstrated leadership in FP&A systems implementation and dashboard creation
- Proven track record of managing cash flow, budget-to-actual reporting, and cross-functional financial support
- Excellent modeling skills in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large data sets
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

The salary range for this role reflects the broad array of factors considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $120-150K. At SunVest, it is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, as compensation decisions are tailored to the specifics of each case.
