The Senior Financial Analyst – Intercompany will be responsible for the analysis of all intercompany activity for Mosaic, including preparation and review of intercompany SOX controls and other related activities for Mosaic’s segments across various geographies. The Senior Financial Analyst – Intercompany will also partner with other key departments to monitor, analyze and reconcile Mosaic’s intercompany balances on a monthly basis to ensure intercompany variances are addressed timely and accurately. They will also be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports for management review in addition to supporting internal and external audit requirement across Mosaic’s geographies. This includes preparing and reviewing intercompany confirmation between various entities and their trading partners as needed. They will be leading the identification of process inefficiencies and actively working on implementing solutions to streamline Mosaic’s intercompany accounting process across the various geographies.
What will you do?
•Ownership of analysis of all intercompany activity for Mosaic including preparation and review of intercompany SOX controls. Identify, analyze and resolve all intercompany variances by partnering with other accounting teams across Mosaic’s geographies.
•Partner with the EBS AP and Treasury teams to ensure reconciliation and analysis of intercompany balances.
•Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for management review in addition to supporting internal and external audit requirements across Mosaic’s geographies.
•Identify inefficiencies and implementing solutions to streamline Mosaic’s intercompany accounting.
What do you need for this role?
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance or related field required.
•CPA or equivalent certification preferred
•4+ years of finance, accounting, or financial analysis experience OR
•2+ years of experience with prior experience at Deloitte, Ernst and Young, KPMG or PwC in similar role
•Strong understanding and familiarity with GAAP and the ability to apply these principles in practice
•Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices
•Broad understanding of internal controls
