Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Tailings Engineer to ensure compliance with the Health, Safety, and Reclamation Code for Mines in British Columbia and to promote a safety-first culture. In this role, you will provide technical support to Mill Operations, focusing on dam integrity and effective tailings deposition. You will lead complex TSF capital construction projects, collaborate with the Engineer of Record, and oversee maintenance operations.
Key responsibilities include reviewing technical proposals, monitoring compliance with deposition plans, and managing geotechnical investigations. You'll also support the professional growth of Engineers-in-Training (EITs) and optimize operational processes, budgeting, and reporting.
