Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly accomplished recruiting leader with a strong educational background, deep professional network, and a sharp eye for talent. This role goes beyond hiring—this leader will be responsible for creating the foundation of our Talent function: defining hiring processes, writing job descriptions, and crafting compensation structures that attract and retain top performers. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in identifying, engaging, and acquiring top-tier talent, especially for executive, managerial, and leadership-level roles. They must be a strategic thinker, a hands-on leader, and a trusted advisor who understands the importance of people in building successful companies.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead recruitment for executive and senior-level roles across the organization; source, assess, and secure best-in-class leaders
•Build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline aligned with growth plans
•Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and organizational structure
•Create clear, accurate job descriptions for all new positions
•Develop compensation bands and structures that reflect market competitiveness and internal equity
•Establish scalable recruiting policies, procedures, and workflows from the ground up
•Elevate our employer brand and ensure a standout candidate experience
•Use data and metrics to assess performance and refine strategy
•Lead, coach, and grow an internal recruiting team as the department scales
What We’re Looking For:
•Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
•Strong academic credentials, ideally from a top-tier institution
•10+ years in talent acquisition or recruiting
•Minimum 5 years leading a team or department
•Extensive experience with leadership, management, and executive-level hiring
•Experience setting up hiring processes, job architecture, and compensation structures
•Land development, real estate, construction, or similar industry experience preferred
•Experience working with major/national firms a plus
•Strong, well-established network of industry professionals and senior-level talent
•Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
•Exceptional judgment in assessing and placing top-tier talent
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
•Skilled in building systems, tools, and documentation from scratch
•Familiar with compensation benchmarking and pay equity principles
•High emotional intelligence, discretion, and a commitment to confidentiality
