Our client, a leading brand in the retail and hospitality space, is seeking an accomplished Director of Talent Acquisition to elevate and drive enterprise-wide recruitment strategy. This is a key leadership role, ideal for a seasoned TA professional who is ready to lead from the front—transforming processes, building brand equity, and scaling high-performing teams in a dynamic, consumer-driven environment.
In This Role, You Will:
•Shape and Execute Strategy – Drive the talent acquisition roadmap across all functions and locations, aligned with long-term business objectives.
•Lead at Scale – Manage and grow a recruitment organization supporting high-volume, multi-unit, and corporate hiring across multiple markets.
•Engage Executives – Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on workforce planning, hiring forecasts, and competitive talent strategies.
•Drive Brand Positioning – Enhance the company's employer value proposition through modern employer branding and recruitment marketing.
•Implement Data-Driven Solutions – Leverage talent analytics to assess performance, identify gaps, and inform strategic decisions.
•Champion DEI – Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into every stage of the hiring process—from pipeline to placement.
•Oversee Tools & Vendors – Own ATS strategy, recruitment tools, and external partner management to ensure operational excellence.
We’re Looking for a Director Who Brings:
•TA Leadership Experience – Minimum 8+ years in talent acquisition, with at least 5+ years in a director-level or above role.
•Industry Relevance – Background in retail, hospitality, or consumer-focused environments preferred.
•Executive & High-Volume Hiring Expertise – Experience managing a mix of corporate leadership searches and large-scale, multi-location recruiting.
•Operational & Strategic Balance – Ability to zoom out to build long-term strategy while staying close to daily execution.
•Strong Executive Presence – Comfortable working with and influencing C-level stakeholders.
•Tech-Forward Mindset – Deep understanding of ATS platforms, automation tools, and recruitment analytics.
•Metro Detroit Presence – Must be based locally and able to be on-site 3 days per week.
