Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior A&D Manager at Diversified Energy plays a vital role in providing economic and technical evaluation for acquisitions and divestitures. This position involves analyzing petroleum and reservoir engineering data, supporting transactions, and collaborating with team members to evaluate acquisition opportunities.

Special focus to be placed on:

- Analyze commercial data from sellers such as lease operating statements, engineering databases, marketing agreements and financial models

- Provide support for transactions, including drafting presentation materials and analyzing or preparing data room documents

- Collaborate with team members to generate A&D/M&A ideas

- Build and leverage a network of industry contacts to stay informed

- Assist in cross-functional areas of impact and alignment

Qualifications:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Technician in the Oil and Gas sector

- High proficiency in reserves database programs such as PhDWin, ValNAV and ARIES

- Ability to QC data for use by engineers

- 10+ years experience in business development or engineering technician roles

- Strong skills in analyzing, consolidating, and tying LOS and LOE data across sources

- Experience in using and building templates in Spotfire

- Degree from accredited university

Office Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

- Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.

Additional Requirements:

- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

The base pay range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000/yr. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, location, experience, and alignment with the job requirements. The range listed is just one component of Diversified Energy’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
