Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in our corporate office in Chamblee, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and auditing, with a deep understanding of financial concepts and GAAP. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting the financial health of our organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting account analysis, and overseeing general ledger reconciliation.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.

- Conduct thorough account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Perform financial auditing tasks to identify discrepancies and ensure integrity of financial data.

- Manage general ledger reconciliation processes to maintain accurate records.

- Collaborate with the finance team to support private equity initiatives and reporting requirements.

- Utilize software for efficient financial management and reporting.

- Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles.

- Familiarity with private equity accounting practices is a plus.

- Proficient in account analysis, financial statement preparation, and auditing processes.

- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP regulations and compliance requirements.

- Experience with accounting software is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
