About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary liaison for assigned customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service, timely communication, and strategic account management. You will oversee RFQs, quotes, pricing negotiations, and order management while supporting both Kanban and Make-to-Order (MTO) processes. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, ERP systems, and customer relationship management.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and occasional site visits.
- Manage RFQ processes and ensure timely quote submissions.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to meet client design expectations.
- Track and communicate customer forecasts, delivery timelines, and performance metrics.
- Participate in weekly sales strategy meetings and provide account updates.
- Document all client interactions and prepare professional materials for sales reviews.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.
- Manage order transactions and internal documentation flow.
- Interpret technical specifications and collaborate with internal teams for contract execution.
- Participate in job costing and margin analysis.
- Lead new project introductions and ensure seamless coordination.
- Navigate ERP systems independently to support client needs and production tracking.
- Prioritize and schedule work for production teams.
- Oversee Kanban and MTO order processes, inventory levels, and job accuracy.
- Track job flow and ensure proper job closure and material reconciliation.
- Provide regular reporting to internal stakeholders and support production with specialized reports.
- Maintain ERP system integrity by resolving transaction issues and discrepancies.
- Monitor material usage, inventory counts, and system-generated reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related problems affecting job transactions.
- Associate degree in Business, Operations, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ERP system proficiency and technical document interpretation.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site daily and engage with cross-functional teams.
- Frequent sitting, walking, and use of hands.
- Ability to focus for extended periods on computer monitors.
- Visual acuity for close and distance vision, color differentiation, and detail.
