Responsible for providing personnel security support to American Centrifuge Operation, LLC (ACO). Under general supervision, providing administrative and technical support to personnel security operations in compliance with security programs, policies, and requirements. The duties of this position require a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality. Work is in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
•Assist with execution of Centrus Energy Corp. (Centrus) and ACO policies and procedures.
•Initiate individuals in the Federal Government database for investigations and completion of security questionnaires and forms.
•Review and process security clearance request documents for completeness/accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulation and procedures.
•Provide clearance applicants with advice and assistance to ensure submissions are complete and comply with applicable procedures and processing requirements.
•Provide recommendations, answer questions, and provide guidance to internal and external personnel concerning security processes and requirements.
•Provide professional and courteous customer service when communicating with personnel.
•Provide clearance reports and other reports as requested by management.
•Assist with research, development, implementation, and maintenance of procedures and associated materials.
•Assist with development and presentation of training on personnel security related topics to new or existing personnel.
•Provide administrative support, such as maintenance of records and documents.
•Work with various security and government databases and systems.
•Prepare documentation of contract registration Foreign Ownership and Control and Influence (FOCI)/ Contract Security Classification Specification (CSCS) to be submitted to the Cognizant Security Agency (CSA) for processing and approval.
•Perform Badge and Visitor Control functions: access government databases to verify clearance status, verify site-specific training, and issue and maintain site badges. May process security plans for uncleared individuals.
•Prepare security plan documentation for foreign national visits to be submitted to the CSA for processing and approval.
•Assists with plans, schedules, coordinates, monitors/reports progress to Security Manager and completes assigned security assignments.
•May perform self-assessments/audits of related process/procedures.
•May assist in conducting security risk assessments or other security related analysis.
•Tracks security commitment related issues and corrective actions utilizing a web-based corrective actions tracking system.
•Assist the Security Manager in planning and performance for comprehensive facility security inspection activities and visits by NRC and DOE Inspectors.
•This position must obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.
•Perform other duties as assigned.

•Associate degree in a technical or administrative field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Proficient computer operating skills, including working knowledge of database operations, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe to process records and generate reports, charts, and presentations.
