We are seeking a Security Supervisor to lead daily security operations and emergency response activities at our steel manufacturing facility. If you're committed to safety, team leadership, and operational integrity, we want to connect with you.

What You'll Do

Supervise daily activities of the security and fire inspection teams

Support HR and Operations in facility security and personnel matters

Oversee and maintain emergency response systems and fire certifications

Manage schedules and staffing to ensure full coverage

Lead security patrols, access control, and incident reporting

Respond to and coordinate in-plant emergency events

Ensure ongoing inspection and maintenance of fire and safety equipment

Maintain compliance with safety policies and emergency protocols

Write and review daily activity reports, noting any unusual events

Perform additional duties as needed to support plant safety and security

What We're Looking For

ExperienceEducation:

High school diploma or GED required

3-6 months of related experience and/or training; college or tech school is a plus

At least 1 year of supervisory experience; union supervision a plus

IDPH First Responder Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)

SkillsQualities:

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and reporting tools

Clear communicator with solid decision-making skills

Able to stay composed and take initiative in emergency situations

Organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
