Responsible to begin maintaining SAP best practice solution approach to minimize custom code. Responsible to learn Valvoline Business Processes and module integrations to prevent erroneous configuration/development. Provides technical support in the analysis, documentation and configuration of break/fix issues. Applies knowledge of integration testing and day-to-day support following the established change and release management processes. Assists with the configuration and testing of new functionality as requested by the business. Coordinates with IT colleagues on continuous improvement or cross-functional teams.
Responsible to begin leading and supporting projects related to small enhancement of existing processes and integration of new business processes. Works with business partners to understand their needs / requirements for new / changed functionality. Act as functional (FI) contact and lead on assigned SAP implementation projects who will implement required functionality.
Learn cross functional skill sets into FI/SC. Provides application support for less junior SAP Analysts while maintaining ITIL service levels. Cooperates with consultants from other modules such as AP/AR/OTB/COPA/MM/ABAP/Analytics Provides effort estimates for small system enhancements and any new functionality.
Has in-depth understanding of configuration best practices. Understands the scope and relationships of large features and modules of SAP Finance. Performs complex configuration tasks. Writes functional specifications for small to medium features. Writes and executes test plans. Given a large or medium understood problem, can design and implement a solution. Shows initiative to learn. Shows initiative and offers assistance when needed without being asked. Works well with technical leads.
1. Provides day to day process support through Service Now incident tickets. Assist business partners with auditing activities by providing data, reports, or other information to satisfy auditor requests 20%
2. Act as Senior Module (IM/PS/FA) Consultant and lead on assigned SAP implementation projects who will implement required functionality. Works with business partners on small enhancement or larger projects to resolve process issues or meet new business requirements while maintaining an SAP best practice approach to reduce custom code. You should be able to take requests from or provide system / process improvement ideas to your business partners.
4. Works with business partners on opportunity assessment / proof of concept investigations as a key input into future business optimization projects
5. Acts as a project manager for projects in their area of responsibility. This will include managing a project team of internal resources or consultants to deliver a final solution to business partners based on their requirements. It will also involve supporting the business partner leads on the project as well.
6. Maintain relationships with key business partner stakeholders
7. Works with IT colleagues to ensure best practices are followed for security, compliance, change management and release management. Collaborates internally with other team members on continuous improvement and/or on cross-functional teams. May coach junior team members.
