ChampionX has an immediate need for an SAP Analyst located in Calgary, AB. This role is part of the planning team with focus on inventory and material activities, metrics and data analysis.

What You Will Do:

Responsible for activities around the inventory of materials which may include determining storage and stock locations, movement and identification of materials.
Ensures and maintains accurate inventory metrics with scheduled cycle counts, on-demand counts and the investigation of discrepancies that may involve root cause analysis.
Inspects parts and labels with close attention to detail. May use electronic weighing, scanning and transcribing devices for inventory management.
Requires use of a computer monitor, laptop or tablet for reporting inventory materials metrics, business systems transactions and investigation reports.
Works under direct supervision. Work is regularly checked.
Supports SAP inventory module enhancements and troubleshooting, ensuring data integrity within the system.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and storage strategies using SAP.
Assists in training end-users on SAP system functionalities related to inventory management.
Develops reports and dashboards using SAP analytics tools to support decision-making.
Works closely with procurement and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.
Ensures compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory control and SAP system use.


Position Details:

This role is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment testing in accordance with ChampionX’s policy.
Candidate must reside in Calgary, AB or surrounding area.


Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of relevant experience in inventory management is required.
2+ years of experience in SAP inventory management or materials handling.
Organization and time management skills
intermediate computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications, internet, and email
The ability to interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in managing inventory discrepancies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience with SAP MM (Materials Management) module is highly desirable.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment is a plus.
Working knowledge of barcode scanning, RFID technology, or automated inventory tracking systems.
Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles for process improvement in inventory management.
