- Complete and maintain required logs and update Support Site.
- Use of LIMS/Support Site for daily tasks.
- Catalogue, label and control all samples received.
- Label test tubes and package boxes.
- Sort and label samples.
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions to weigh samples for analysis.
- Archive samples and record location in the log.
- Develop an understanding of sample preparation techniques to identify problems originating from sample preparation i.e. coarse pulps, duplicates not matching.
- Weigh samples using a 2, 3 or 4 decimal balance.
- Run samples for LOI and for Robotic LOI system.
- Assist in creating methods and procedures for this purpose.
- Monitor the progress of tasks in work orders.
- Catalogue and inventory all samples after work is complete.
- Maintain and report equipment issues as they relate to sample weigh and production related issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other Actlabs personnel as required.
- Help manage inventory of supplies and identify consumables that need to be ordered.
- Encapsulate samples and package vials for the reactor.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping.
- Assist in ensuring turnaround time meets clients and General Manager’s requirements.
