Rockydale Quarries Corporation, a long-standing aggregate producer in Virginia, is seeking a Weighmaster/QA-QC Lab Tech: at our Staunton quarry location.

This position will back-up and support truck weighing operations and will perform lab testing on aggregate samples. You'll work in a quarry environment, assist with weighing customer and company trucks, and conduct quality control tests (e.g., moisture content, bulk density, abrasion).

- Operate scales and weigh trucks following VDOT and company guidelines

- Use ticketing system to enter data accurately

- Assist customers with product selection based on job specs

- Perform lab tests on aggregates using standard tools and procedures

- Communicate with customers, drivers, and team members daily

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED

- Strong computer and math skills (fractions, percentages, etc.)

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of Roanoke and surrounding areas is a plus

- Willingness to work overtime when needed
