Sample Control Technician

Environmental laboratory in Tucson seeks a highly motivated individual for sample receiving. Responsibilities include interacting with clients and accepting samples at our facility, logging the samples into a computerized tracking system, assuring that the samples are carefully labeled and appropriately stored, and preparing sample bottle kits for clients.

Applicants must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and have a willingness to work independently as well as part of the group. The chosen candidate will be able to demonstrate great time management, awareness, common sense, and attention to detail. We are a close-knit group, and the ability to get along with others is very important.

This is a full-time position for Monday through Friday, though some weekend or evening hours may be required.

Requirements: A BS in chemistry or related field is desirable but other degrees and as well as combination of degree and work experience will be considered.

Compensation: Hourly wage will depend on experience. Paid Holidays and Sick Time are provided. Package includes health, dental, vision insurance and life insurance policy.
