Functional Summary
The Salesman is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing client relationships for the residential paving company. This role involves meeting with potential clients, providing estimates, closing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
•Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the residential paving market.
•Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and provide accurate estimates.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
•Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
•Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
•Follow up with potential leads to convert them into clients.
•Document client interactions in marketing and scheduling software.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction or paving industry.
•Associate’s degree in business, sales, or construction management, preferred.
•Strong communication and negotiation skills.
•Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
•Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
•Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Abilities
•Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
•Strong organizational and time management skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Working Conditions
•Primarily field-based with frequent travel to client sites.
•Occasional office work for administrative tasks and meetings.
•Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, as required

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
