Position: Laborer – Asphalt and Concrete Restoration
Location: Northern Colorado
Reports to: Foreman – Asphalt and Concrete Restoration
Exempt (salary) or nonexempt (hourly) position: Nonexempt (hourly)
Full-time position: $19 to $24 based on experience and qualifications
Hours: Monday-Friday, with overtime and additional days as project requires.
Summary
The Laborer – Asphalt and Concrete Restoration is responsible for supporting the restoration crew in the preparation, placement, and finishing of asphalt and concrete to restore roadways, sidewalks, driveways, and other surfaces impacted by underground utility work. This position involves manual labor, operation of hand and power tools, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities
•Assist in the preparation and restoration of asphalt and concrete surfaces, including demolition, grading, forming, and clean-up.
•Operate hand tools such as shovels, picks, rakes, tampers, and brooms.
•Use power tools and equipment including concrete saws, jackhammers, plate compactors, and walk-behind rollers.
•Mix, pour, and finish concrete as directed.
•Load and unload materials such as gravel, concrete, asphalt, and debris.
•Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safe working conditions.
•Follow all company safety policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
•Prior experience in asphalt or concrete restoration preferred but not required—willing to train the right candidate.
•Ability to work long hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
•Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs., bend, kneel, and work on feet for extended periods.
•Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
•Strong work ethic and reliability.

•Outdoor work environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and traffic
•May work near heavy equipment and moving vehicles.
