Position: Foreman/Operator – Asphalt and Concrete Restoration
Location: Frederick, Colorado
Reports to: Operations Manager - Distribution
Exempt (salary) or nonexempt (hourly) position: Nonexempt
Full-time position Pay: $27-$32/hour, depending on experience & qualifications
Hours: Monday-Friday, with overtime and additional days as the project requires.
Summary
Centerline Energy Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Asphalt and Concrete Restoration Foreman and Operator to lead and manage crews in performing high-quality restoration projects. We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Foreman/Operator to lead field crews and operate heavy equipment for asphalt and concrete restoration projects. This role combines leadership, planning, and field execution, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, is proficient with restoration equipment, and can work effectively in both supervisory and operational capacities.

Responsibilities
Foreman Duties:
•Supervise and coordinate the activities of asphalt and concrete crews.
•Oversee the removal, restoration, and finishing of concrete and asphalt surfaces including sidewalks, driveways, roadways, curbs, gutters and patches.
•Interpret project plans to ensure work is performed accurately and on time.
•Ensure proper use, maintenance and cleanliness of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
•Monitor job progress and resolve issues that could affect timeline or safety.
•Maintain accurate daily reports and job logs.
•Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and efficiency.
•Enforce safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
•Communicate effectively with clients, inspectors, and management.
Equipment Operator Duties:
•Operate various types of heavy equipment, including:
Ø Skid steers
Ø Excavators
Ø Loaders
Ø Concrete saws and compactors
•Perform asphalt milling, patching, grading, trenching, and concrete removal or installation.
•Conduct daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance.
•Support hands-on field work as needed, including site prep and clean-up.
Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED required, additional training or certifications a plus.
•Minimum 3-5 years of experience in asphalt and concrete restoration, with at least one year of supervisory role.
•Strong understanding of materials, methods, tools, and equipment used in asphalt and concrete construction.
•Proven leadership and team management skills.
•Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
•Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
•Experience with equipment including skid steers, roller compactor, demo saws, dump trucks, trailers, etc.
•Must have a quality work ethic and be committed to optimum customer service
•Must be able to work additional hours
•Ability to communicate information and ideas to others.
•Bilingual (Spanish & English) skills are a plus
Work Environment
•Workers will be required to use appropriate personal protective equipment.
•Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform manual labor as needed.
•Capable of working long hours outdoors in various weather conditions.
•Must be able to climb in/out of equipment and remain on foot for long periods.
•Stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.
•Operate heavy machinery and hand tools as needed.
•+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in asphalt and concrete restoration, with at least one year of supervisory role.
•Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
•Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
•Able to travel when needed
