Assistant Safety Manager

ROLE:

Responsible for assisting the Plant Safety Manager in all safety, health, and fire safety activities and programs to prevent or correct unsafe working conditions.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :

+ Assist with accident investigation + Management of the company’s safety inquires (i.e. near miss, safety suggestions) + Respond to safety inquires on all levels regarding safety concerns + Assist in ISO 45001 development and implementation + Assist the safety manager with all initiatives and goals + Apply safety programs and policies to meet company goals + Perform OSHA compliance audits + Perform WF policy audits + Lead Behavior Based Safety initiatives at the facility + Administrative work (i.e. filing papers, AS400 data entry, etc.)

+ Assist peer review team at any facility + Attend one professional development opportunity per year | Minimum
