Weldon, an Upchurch Company is looking for a dedicated Safety Manager to oversee and implement our safety programs on all construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety regulations, promote a culture of safety, and minimize risks to our team and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and protocols across all job sites.
•
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
•
Provide safety training and education to employees and subcontractors and/or temps.
•
Investigate accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
•
Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and all field personnel to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
•
Qualifications:Maintain accurate records of safety activities, incidents, and compliance.
•
Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
•
In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
•
Strong communication and leadership skills.
•
Ability to analyze data and identify trends to improve safety performance.
•
