The general purpose of the Robotic Welder Operator is to operate computer-controlled machines to perform one or more machine functions on metal work pieces.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Physical Demands refers to the level and/or duration of physical exertion generally required to perform occupational takes (sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing and pulling).
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, and use hands to handle, or touch objects or controls. Perform repetitive motion of fingers, hands, wrists, shoulders and upper body. The employee if regularly required to reach with hands and arms. On occasion the incumbent may be required to walk, stop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
The employee must frequently lift up to 10 pounds, regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to working near moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in typically loud in this work environment. Hearing protection is required.
Employee is expected to wear the required personal protective equipment when on the production floor.
