The QA Robot Technician will conduct continuous inspection and testing of products at various stages of production processes and will compile data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. The Quality Technician will report to the Quality Engineer or Quality Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sets up and performs destructive and non-destructive tests on materials, parts or products to measure performance, life or material characteristics.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • High school diploma or GED; or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to operate the CMM and laser QC (write functional programs), as required. • Ability to complete gauge calibration. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manual. • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
