•Install, configure, program, and maintain automation equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and instrumentation.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot automation and control system issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
•Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automation systems, including sensors, actuators, instrumentation, and control networks.
•Read and interpret electrical, instrumentation, and control system schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
•Conduct testing, calibration, and inspections of instrumentation equipment to verify system integrity and compliance with safety standards.
•Work with engineers and operations teams to develop and implement process improvements.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, such as NEC, OSHA, and NFPA.
•Maintain accurate documentation of automation system configurations, modifications, and maintenance activities.
•Stay up to date with advancements in automation technology and participate in ongoing training programs.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification in automation, electrical, or instrumentation technology preferred.
•Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems.
•Strong understanding of PLCs, VFDs, SCADA, and industrial instrumentation.
•Knowledge of industrial networking protocols, such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus.
•Ability to read and interpret electrical and control system schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
•Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
