Position Summary
The Restoration Technician serves as the first responder to property loss incidents, delivering essential mitigation services for multi-family and commercial properties. Responsibilities include water damage mitigation, fire and smoke cleaning, microbial remediation, and other restoration services. This hands-on role requires executing high-quality restoration services while maintaining exceptional customer care and professionalism in the field.
Responsibilities
•Perform water extraction and mitigation to prevent further property damage.
•Conduct fire and smoke cleaning and restoration services.
•Execute microbial remediation to ensure safe and healthy environments.
•Provide vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean-up services.
•Participate in demolition when necessary.
•Supervise and manage temporary labor personnel on job sites.
•Maintain exceptional customer service by showing empathy and professionalism.
•Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Ability, & Experience
•Minimum 2+ years of experience in restoration or construction.
•Ability to work overtime as needed to ensure project completion.
•Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (per insurance requirements).
•Strong knowledge of restoration techniques, materials, and equipment.
•High sense of urgency with excellent organizational and time management skills.
•Customer-focused, results-driven, and goal-oriented.
•Experience with construction industry software is a plus.
•IICRC Certifications are a plus
