Water Restoration Technician

Signature Restoration Services seeks remediation technicians, we provide water/mold restoration services to commercial and residential properties in the Augusta area. Applicants must be dependable, have transportation to and from work, work well with others, be honest, have a strong work ethic.

Summary

Technicians will be responsible for responding to and addressing water damage and mold contamination in residential or commercial properties. You will assess the damage, extract the water, dry the affected areas and remediate mold using industry standard techniques and safety protocols. You will work closely with supervisors, team members and clients to deliver high-quality results and provide exceptional costumer service.

Responsibilities

· Respond to calls for water damage/mitigation/restoration.

· Inspect and evaluate property damage to determine the extent of the restoration work required.

· Use specialized equipment and tools to carry out restoration processes efficiently and safely.

· Remove drywall, pull up flooring and clear out all affected debris

· Clean, disinfect and remove mold using appropriate methods, while adhering to safety protocols.

· Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE and handle hazardous materials responsibly.

· Communicate effectively with clients and team members to get the job done.

Requirements

· Restoration industry experience preferred but not required.

· Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and client interactions.

· Must have a clean background check

· Ability to pass a drug test

Work Environment

This is an in-field position that requires frequent travel to and from active jobsites. These jobsites may be local to the CSRA area or they could require overnight travel to other areas. Jobsites may contain hazardous materials and require PPE to be worn correctly and safely.

Jobsites may or may not have electricity; expect to work in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. This job will require standing/walking for extended periods of time. There may be occasional use of ladders and may involve heavy manual labor. There will be on-call, night and weekend work required.
