Job Overview
The Restoration Specialist role at Radical Restoration exists to identify and engage potential clients for exterior restoration services, ensuring that homeowners and businesses receive high-quality solutions tailored to their needs. This position is designed to drive lead generation, build client relationships, and support the company's mission of delivering top-tier restoration projects through professional consultation and brand representation
Overall Objective
Your key objectives are to maximize revenue opportunities by proactively prospecting new business, maintaining strong communication with customers, and contributing to the overall growth of Radical Restoration. By leveraging training, canvassing strategies, and in-home consultations, this role aims to enhance brand visibility, secure high-value contracts, and uphold client satisfaction from initial outreach to project completion.
Responsibilities And Duties
•Prospecting & Canvassing:
•Effectively prospect new residential/commercial roofing, siding, and gutter services covered by property insurance.
•Strategically canvass identified markets using premier software.
•Conduct thorough property inspections, including ladder climbing and roof walking for accurate damage assessments.
•Client Interaction & Communication:
•Maintain consistent, professional, and high-quality communication with leads, customers, and internal teams.
•Provide timely and detailed follow-ups throughout the renovation process.
•In-Home Consultations & Presentations:
•Conduct comprehensive home exterior walk-arounds, clearly outlining and defining the scope of work and potential beneficial upgrades to their property.
•Present Radical Restoration's value proposition that includes company products and services using demonstration materials.
•Utilize visualization software for client product previews.
•Contract & Payment Handling:
•Facilitate customer signing of installation contracts and collect necessary payments (deductibles and upgrade partial payment) via checks or through our payment processing software.
•Post-Project Client Engagement:
•Visit completed projects to ensure satisfaction, collect final payments, request referrals, and gather online reviews.
•Regularly participate in scheduled sales training sessions, one-on-one performance assessments, and ongoing professional development.
•Lead Generation and Market Development:
•Generate leads through daily canvassing and networking with B2B referral partners (insurance agents, property managers, real estate agents).
•Attend monthly networking events.
•Documentation & CRM Management:
•Accurately and timely input of all leads, client interactions, inspections, appointments, and sales within the CRM and company provided canvassing software.
Qualifications
•General knowledge of roofing, siding, and gutters
•Strong Prospecting and Canvassing abilities
•Interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
•Demonstrated drive and determination to consistently exceed expectations.
•Proven sales experience (Outside, Inside, Business Development, Account Management)
•Experience using CRM and canvassing software preferred
•License/Certification: Valid Driver's License (Required)
•FLSA: Exempt Commissioned Employee
Education And Experience
•High School Diploma or GED.
•2+ years of Home Improvement Experience
•2+ years of D2D (Door-2-Door) Sales Experience
•3+ years of B2C experience.
•2+ years of B2B sales experience is preferred.
•Construction/contracting background is a plus.
Physical Demands
•While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is often required to walk, climb ladders, walk roofs, talk, and use an iPad (as assigned by Radical Restoration).
•Other physical demands include sitting for office work and using software as required.
