You are detail-oriented and have a strong understanding of Sales procedure. You enjoy tackling challenges and won’t leave any stone unturned to find the best solution for the situation at hand. Your excellent communication skills allow you to partner seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven sales experience (residential solar, energy, or home improvement preferred — but not required).
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
- Passion for clean energy and helping customers achieve energy independence.
- Must be local to Tualatin, Sherwood, or nearby areas (the closer to Tualatin, the better).
As a Sales Representative, you’ll need to provide service for the sales support for Residential BESS.
- Spend ~50% of your time calling homeowners and solar panel owners to introduce MeterHome’s ESS solutions and set appointments.
- Spend the other ~50% visiting homes in person, meeting with customers face-to-face to present solutions, answer questions, and close sales.
- Manage inbound leads and generate new customer opportunities.
- Educate customers on backup power, solar + storage benefits, and incentives (including tax credits and rebates).- Guide prospects through the sales process, from first contact to signed contract.
- Collaborate with the sales team to hit and exceed sales targets.
- Work involves talking, hearing, keying, and writing.
- The physical requirements of this position are described as sedentary work. Sedentary work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects,
- Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity in order to perform activities at distances close to the eyes.
- The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, specific skills, and years of experience.
