A growing medical device manufacturer specializing in plastic injection molding and microelectronics needs to hire a Repair Technician to support 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) and 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am). There is 1 job available for each shift.
This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where employee input is valued, respected and encouraged! My client is eager to have new employees start in April or May 2025.
The position is onsite (Monday-Friday) and may require overtime (as needed).
•Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate a variety of machines, including automated equipment. Learn start-up and shut-down procedures for automated systems.
•Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Maintain presses and automation uptime. Apply root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues with equipment and machinery. Diagnose problems, provide solutions to correct and perform repairs.
•Process Adherence: Follow and adhere to validated manufacturing processes and standards.
•Technical Collaboration: Work alongside engineers to perform complex mechanical and electronic tasks.
•Quality and Safety Compliance: Comply with ISO 13485 Quality Management System (QMS) standards, maintaining a safe work environment by ensuring equipment safety and keeping production areas clear of debris.
The ideal candidate will have the experience below:
•Must have experience working in regulated manufacturing (Automotive, Medical Device, Aerospace, Defense etc.)
•Must have experience working with vision systems (Keyence, SmartScope or EPSON for example)
•Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical issues
•Experience working in high-volume manufacturing is preferred
