Job Summary

The Equipment Rental Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the rental operations of our company. This position is responsible for managing customer relations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and driving sales through effective management of rental inventory. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset, along with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Duties

Manage daily operations of the rental department, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.

•

Oversee inventory management, including tracking rental items and ensuring availability for customers.

•

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase rental revenue and market share.

•

Provide administrative support, including maintaining records, preparing reports, and managing schedules.

•

Assist customers at the front desk, addressing inquiries and providing information about rental options.

•

Conduct outside sales activities to promote rental services within the community.

•

Facilitate public speaking engagements to promote the rental business at local events or meetings.

•

Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve operational processes.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in sales or customer service roles; experience in a rental environment is a plus.

•

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for administrative tasks and reporting.

•

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

•

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; public speaking experience is desirable.

•

Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.

•

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
