Area Manager – Residential & Commercial Solar (National Company)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Manager to oversee operations, sales performance, and team development within a designated territory.
The Area Manager will be responsible for driving growth and operational excellence across both residential and commercial solar markets. This role requires a strong leader who can manage sales teams, coordinate with operations, and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a track record of achieving sales and operational targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage sales representatives and field staff across the assigned region.
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies to achieve revenue and installation goals.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with operations, installation, and customer service teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Recruit, train, and retain top-performing sales talent.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Represent the company at community events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand market presence.
- Provide exceptional customer experience by supporting clients throughout the solar adoption process.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in sales, operations, or management (solar, renewable energy, or related industries preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and performance goals.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
