This position is covered by NERC CIP cyber security standards. Prior to being hired, promoted, or transferred into the position, the candidate must successfully pass a Personnel Risk Assessment, which includes identity verification and a criminal background check. Prior to being granted unescorted access to cyber secure areas, the candidate must attend cyber security training. Annual cyber security training is also required.
As a Regulatory and Compliance Program Coordinator, you will support Recurrent Energy’s compliance program to North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Reliability Standards. You will work with key stakeholders throughout the organization, internally and externally, to ensure regulatory compliance with applicable standards. In this role, your primary duties will be to provide coordination support for Recurrent Energy’s NERC Compliance Department and operating companies to identify and meet state, federal and independent system operator compliance obligations.
· Supports NERC compliance activities by maintaining schedules pre and post NERC COD, training, documentation, evidence, and records
· Interacts with subject matter experts throughout the company regularly to ensure that compliance activities are carried out in an timely and compliant manner
· Maintains schedule and associated notifications, including reminder or workflow system(s) to ensure groups meet all deadlines and requirements associated with self-reports, self- certifications, mitigation plans, and new or revised standards
· Prepares departmental reporting on compliance related metrics and other departmental information
· Promotes compliance awareness through day to day work activities
· Organizes responses to compliance audits, spot checks, periodic data submittals, and other monitoring processes as applicable
· Prepares and organizes documentation in anticipation of self-certification and audit requirements
· Coordinates and is responsible for filing periodic data submittals, NERC Alert responses, and other reporting and notification within the ERO portal, Align, CORES, MIDAS and related databases and applications.
· Maintains necessary document repository structure and access of subject matter experts across the enterprise to required repositories in a compliant manner
· Strong organization skills and ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables across departmental and stakeholder personnel
· Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in priorities
· Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds

· Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) Software experience or similar preferred
