· Ensure company maintains compliance with USDA and FDA regulatory requirements.
· Manage certifications such as Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Kosher, Halal, Organic, Certified Humane, and others.
· Maintain approved supplier documentation and support compliance with Foreign Supplier Verification Programs.
· Submit and track USDA and FDA label approvals.
· Maintain and update quality and food safety policies and SOPs.
· Assist with shelf-life studies and validation of microbial limits and organoleptic properties.
· Manage documents related to Prerequisite Programs, HACCP, PCQI, and SQF systems.
· Support ESHA Genesis Nutritional Program and maintain accurate Nutrition Facts Panels.
· Assist with internal and external audits, mock recalls, and CAPA/root cause investigations.
· Participate in customer complaint investigations and problem-solving initiatives.
· Support Pathogen Environmental Monitoring Programs (PEMP) and documentation.
· Work closely with QA, Production, R&D, and Customer Service teams to gather and manage documentation.
· Maintain customer portals and ERP systems with current certification data and regulatory documents.
· Bachelor’s degree in food science, Biology, Microbiology, or related technical field preferred.
· 2–5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
· PCQI certification and SQF Practitioner certification preferred.
· Experience with ERP and customer portal systems is a plus.
· Familiar with FSMA, USDA, FDA, and GMP regulatory standards.
· Familiarity with ESHA Genesis Nutrition Software and Nutrition Labeling.
· Understanding of CAPA process and Root Cause Analysis methodology.
· Working knowledge of Pathogen Environmental Monitoring Programs.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Willingness to work occasional weekends as needed.
· Ability to work in office and production environments (cold, wet, or noisy areas).
· Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
· Must be able to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods.
· Expand expertise in regulatory certifications and food safety systems.
· Advance to roles such as Regulatory Affairs Manager or QA Supervisor.
· Participate in advanced training for PCQI, SQF, and other industry-recognized certifications.
Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
