We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transmission Planning Engineer to join our Regional Planning / Competitive Planning group. This role supports long-term transmission system planning, competitive project development, and regulatory compliance in coordination with Regional Transmission Organizations (RTOs) such as PJM, MISO, SPP, and ERCOT.
The successful candidate will apply technical modeling, regulatory knowledge, and strategic thinking to develop cost-effective, reliable, and policy-compliant transmission solutions.
Position will in-office 5 days a week (Columbus, OH OR Tulsa, OK)
Has typically acquired 16 or more years of related engineering experience along with a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET; or 14 years of related engineering experience along with a Master's or PhD in engineering from a program accredited by ABET*. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico* is required for this position unless approval to waive this requirement is given by the organization's EVP.
VP or above may waive the requirement for a degree from a university with an Non ABET accredited program
