The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for all aspects of sales and customer service for our guardrail product line across a region encompassing multiple states.
· Responsible for driving profitable growth while working in conjunction with our industry partners and satisfying customer requirements.
- Prompt follow-up on all customer requests.
- Create quotes, write sales orders, and coordinate deliveries.
- Coordinate necessary activities with inside sales team.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with customers and industry contacts.
- Communicate market data and trends as appropriate.
- Participate in developing sales goals and strategies with National Sales Manager.
- Be aware of all guardrail standards within territory.
- Monitor and track bidding activity within region.
- Create sales reports as needed and review results on a regular basis.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Travel as needed to visit customers, attend conferences/meetings/industry events, and trade shows (35%).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or construction management
- Minimum three years’ sales experience in the highway construction industry – roadside hardware a plus.
